Faust Family Reunion

Right after Dalton's swim lesson we headed toward Steward, Ia to meet up with Kevin's relatives for the weekend and have a big group picture taken. After all the heat and dry weather we have had, it was cool and rainy on  the 23rd of June as we gathered with many of Kevin's relatives including grandpa and grandma Faust for a big get together at the park. After we had family pictures taken with everyone there, we enjoyed a potluck together. Dalton and Bentley kept me hopping as they raced all around the shelter house checking out the puddles, rain, food, and family.

 I was blessed to see Dalton as he was comfortably on Grandpa Faust lap for at least half an hour. It was awesome to hear their talking back and forth as Dalton was very engaged in a long conversation with his great grandpa. Dalton definitely took a liking to Grandpa Faust and wanted to sit on his lap several other times as well. When I told Dalton that Grandpa Faust would be visiting Mimi Engelbrecht's in August, he lit up with an excited response and turned to tell Daddy the news.
