September 30 2011 was a day to celebrate because Bentley's full leg cast was taken off. Here we are just arriving home from the doctors and what a cheerful beautiful boy we have.
Thank You Jesus for a joyful little boy and the release to hold his little toes once again. I was amazed that his leg was completely healed in only three weeks from the time it had broken. Bentley adapted so fast to having the cast on his leg. He continued to scoot himself across the floor despite the heavy weight on his left.Now having the cast off, it will be interesting to see if and how soon his scoot/army crawl becomes a traditional crawl on all fours. The doctor told me that his brain is now programed to crawl the way he has been, and Bentley may be cruising around before he "crawls".
It is so wonderful to see and hold both of his little legs.
