I am amazed how fast this year has gone. Here it is Dalton and Dada's birthday again and Dalton is turning TWO already. He is growing so fast it is hard to keep up. Our Dalton is full of laughs, giggles, and so much joy. Mom and Dad take delight in watching our two year old come up with something new he has learned every day. It is fun to watch Dalton get excited about learning as well. I am awed every day by a new word or phrase that he picks up. The words and phrases we hear most often right now are "Why", "Happy Potty", "Ma",Da","Dalty", "Dalty- read", "Dalty Eat","Baby", "Baby eyes closed", "Baby cry", "Ball", Papa, Mimi, Cole, Collin, Chloe, Caelan, Diggi-Diggi( for Uncle Nate) and Digigigi( for Aunt Christina) and Go Dog Go and B Book (Dalton's Two Favorite Books).In addition, Dalton knows a majority of the letters in the alphabet and still loves to look at and read books. Many times, when he sees signs or words on food boxes, I will here him start calling out the letters.
Pizza is one of Dalton's favorite foods! So on the evening of the December 3rd we went to Happy Joe's Pizza in Eldridge.
Dalton was thrilled to watch the train travel around the track up by the ceiling.
Both times it stopped we won little Joe's Pizza. Kevin though this was great! My boy's had fun playing many of the ball games together as well.
Balls, balls this is one of Dalton's favorite activities to play, especially throwing it up and down the stairs with Dad. It is so funny to watch him gather up as many as balls as he can hold before throwing them down to Dad.
The next day on Dec. 4th, the day of our big birthday celebration, Dad was able to take the day off and be with us. YEA!

It is time to for dessert. I made my first homeade cake - pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting. I was very pleased with the results. Our friend Joelle did a fabulous job decorating it.
As you can see the cakes theme was backhoes, escavators, and bulldozers- all the equitment Dalton loves to ride on with Dad.

Now it is time to open presents. I am so greatful to everyone not only for coming, but also for their generous gifts.

Very soon we will be welcoming a new and very special member to our family. Our 2nd precious boy is due in two weeks from this party. I am very glad our baby has held off till after the party. We are greatly anticipating your arrival our little one! How awesome it will be for Dalton to have a little brother!
