Dalton's new bedroom, toddler bed, and toy room downstairs are finally finished. Yea! The process of refinishing the toddler bed, organizing the basement, having radon treatments done, and decorating Dalton's room have all been a project that took a lot longer than we had anticipated. Our boys have now been sleeping in there new rooms and beds for a little over a week now and I am delighted by the smooth transition. I had not been looking forward to moving Dalton to his new bedroom downstairs. Not only would Dalton be on different level than us, but he was also going from his crib to a toddler bed. I was concerned that he may have a hard time making these two major changes at once. But when the time came to make the switch we recognized Jesus blessings in the timing immediately. Even from the first night, Dalton has continued to sleep all night without a fuss. Both boys are sleeping great in their new rooms and beds. Bentley slept all night in his new crib for the first five nights. Wow!

Dalton was excited to have a new room and loved the Thomas the Train decals we placed on the wall around his bed. I was thrilled by his response upon seeing his new room decorated for the first time. "Whoh!" Here he is pointing out the Thomas the Train Engines on his wall.

At night, Dalton and Daddy always have special time together before bed singing and reading in the big rocking chair in Dalton's new room. Seeing this blesses my heart!

Dalton reading in his new bed. Sometimes Daddy tells Dalton he can read in his bed for a little bit then tell us when he is done. I am tickled how Dalton just reads a couple of books and than we will hear his sweet little voice say, " Ok, done read now". Dalton also does an awesome job getting up and down out of his toddler bed by himself. What a great job our big boy!
